Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2020
Location: Zoom ONLY – In light of the restrictions that are placed on the number of people who can be a room safely, the challenges of providing prepackaged meals, and concern and care for one another in the Covid-19 environment we are living in, we’ve decided to hold our monthly meetings via zoom until conditions dictate otherwise.
The speaker for the first meeting of the semester will be Joe Bucha. Joe is a former staff member and regional director with Cru and the owner and director of Stonegate Counseling Associates. Along with Joe, there are five other counselors that are a part of Stonegate (www.stonegatecounsel.com). The title of his talk will be “Keys to Emotional and Spiritual Health” with an abstract below.
Abstract: As a CRU staff member for 33 years and now as a Christian therapist for the last 13 years, I have seen many individuals and couples that could have possibly avoided significant pain and destruction if they were more proactive in tending to their emotional and spiritual well being and growth. In this presentation we will discuss some keys to being spiritually and emotionally healthy and the importance of developing a plan for self care and well being.
We will provide the Zoom link to everyone who sends in a RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 2, by 10 am. You can RSVP by filling out the form below.
