September 5, 2018 – Dr. Rae Mellichamp

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018

Time: 12:15-1:15

Location: Tate 480

The speaker for the first CFF monthly meeting of the fall semester is Dr. Rae Mellichamp. Dr. Mellichamp is an Emeritus Professor of Management Science in the Graduate School at the University of Alabama where he served as a faculty member from 1969 to 1994. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Clemson University and his Batchelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Abstract: I’ve spent 50+ years of my life in the university as an undergraduate, graduate
student, professor, emeritus professor, and writer and speaker. For most of those years I
have been following Jesus as the main priority of my life. As I have been able to spend
much of my time for the last 20 years studying and teaching the Word, and reflecting on
my life, which is closing in on 8 decades, the Lord has given me some keen insights
concerning His will and my response. I’ll be sharing a number of these insights with
you—things I wish I had known when I was your age, whatever that happens to be.
Insights to which you’ll be very glad you were exposed.

We will provide a light complimentary lunch if your RSVP by Tuesday, September 4, by 5 pm. You can RSVP by filling out the form below.
