Date: Thursday, September 5
Time: 12:30-1:30
Location: Tate 473
The first monthly meeting of the fall semester of the Christian Faculty Forum will be held on Thursday, September 5th, from 12:30 to 1:30 in Tate 473. The speaker will be Dr. Ben Ayers, Dean of the UGA Terry College of Business. Before becoming Dean in 2014, Ben served for nine years as the director of the J.M. Tull School of Accounting where he holds the Earl Davis Chair in Taxation. His topic will be “Building a Firm Foundation.”
Abstract: The scripture teaches us the importance of building a firm foundation (Matt. 7:24-26 and 1 Cor. 3:10-12 among several) to stand firm as we navigate life. Ben will share his life’s journey and ways that he has sought to build a firm spiritual foundation, particularly as a professor and in his current administrative role.
A light lunch will be served to everyone who sends in their RVP by 5 pm, Wednesday, September 4th, by filling out the form below. You can also indicate if you plan on attending but don’t need a meal provided. We hope you will make plans to join us as we begin another academic year.
