The speaker for the February CFF meeting will be Dr. Bill Fisk, Emeritus Professor of Education at Clemson University. His topic will be “Developing a Statement of Faculty Ethical and Moral Conduct.” An abstract is below.

Bill received his BS from Florida State as a double major in math and psychology. He also received his MS and PhD from Florida State in School Psychology. He worked as a 1st Grade teacher and a school psychologist before joining the faculty at the University of Texas at Tyler from 1979-1986. In 1986 he moved to Clemson University as an assistant professor rising through the ranks to become a full professor in Teacher Education. He also served 15 years as the department chair until retiring in 2015 and being granted emeritus professor status. He has remained actively involved in the Faculty Commons ministry at Clemson and serves on their steering committee.

Abstract: What does it look like to be ethical and moral?  Can your students know your Christian ethics and morals just by watching you?  What if you could clearly tell them as a part of natural course presentation and ask them to hold you to them?  This presentation will look at a way to do that!

We will provide a light complimentary lunch to everyone who sends in their RSVP by Wednesday, February 6, by 5 pm. You can RSVP by filling out the form below.
