Topic: “Is Jesus Center Stage?”
Abstract: Does Christ need to be brought back into the arts and specifically the concert stage? What are the challenges of being a Christian in a symphonic environment? Are their many Christians in this field and can they make an eternal impact? Prof. Smith will share his perspective pulling from his experiences of 30+ years as the principal trumpet in the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
