The speaker for the CFF monthly meeting will be Dr. Jefrey Breshears, Director of The Areopagus Christian Study Center. His topic is “What Every Christian Should Know About the Reformation.” (Note: This year is the 500th anniversary of what is referred to as the Protestant Reformation.)

Abstract: In this historical Powerpoint presentation, Dr. Breshears focuses on the essential and salient points related to the Reformation:

     What was the Reformation?
     When and where did the Reformation occur?
     Why did the Reformation occur?
     Who were the major people who promoted the Reformation?
     How did the Reformation succeed? and
     The legacy of the Reformation: Why did the Reformation matter?
